Do you accept walk-in patients?

Yes, depending on availability of practitioners. We highly encourage all patients to book appointments in advance to secure your slot. If you are having a hard time booking online, you can call the clinic during operating hours to assist you.

Do I need a referral to avail any of your services?

No, we do not require a referral or prescription to see a therapist. However, if you’d like to submit claims to your insurance provider, it is best to check the requirements prior booking.

Do you do direct billing to my extended health benefits?

Yes! We direct bill to most extended health benefits such as Canada Life, Sun Life, Manulife, Pacific Blue Cross, Alberta Blue Cross, Medavie Blue Cross, Industrial Alliance, Chambers of commerce, RWAM, Desjardins, Coughlin, Maximum Benefits, Claimsecure, Groupsource, etc. Depending on your coverage, we partner with different providers

How much am I covered?

Insurance plans are different for each patient. Medical clinics like us do not have visibility on patients’ individual plans. We submit claims on the day of your appointment, and we will be able to inform you how much your insurance is covering and if there’s out-of-pocket costs. Also, some extended health benefits allow medical offices to call and check patients’ coverage information prior to their appointment

I need to cancel my appointment, what should I do?

Our clinic has a 24-hour cancellation policy. Due to limited slots, there will be a fee for “No Show” or late cancellation notice. To avoid this, please call us to cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours prior your scheduled appointment.

I just had an accident and I’m under ICBC, can I do my therapy in your clinic?

Yes, we accept new and existing ICBC cases. Please provide your Claim Number to the receptionist when attending your first session. This way, we can coordinate your invoices directly to ICBC. We are a multidisciplinary clinic offering Chiropractic, Massage Therapy, Physiotherapy, Active Rehab and Acupuncture to help you recover faster.

I am experiencing chronic pain, which service should I book?

All our practitioners use different modalities to treat the root cause of your pain. If you are unsure of which service to book based on your health condition, we suggest booking an initial assessment with our physiotherapist or chiropractor to get a diagnosis and recommendation. Our practitioners have treated a wide variety of underlying conditions and are equipped with knowledge to help patients towards recovery.

How many sessions do I need to book?

Each patient’s healing progress is different. Our Practitioner will work together with you and tailor fit each session according to your needs. From your initial session, we will track your progress and you will get a recommendation from your practitioner on the number of sessions you will need to have.

I am not an existing patient, but I want to purchase products from your clinic. Is it possible?

Yes, Definitely! Products such as compression socks, braces and supplements are available for pre-order in the clinic. You can give us a call which products you’d like to buy and will give you a call back once it’s ready for pick up. Depending on your coverage, private insurance sometimes covers for products. It is best to check with your provider if you’d like to submit claims later.

I want to order a custom-made orthotics because I am covered. What should I do?

You can book for a Custom-made Orthotics Assessment with the Chiropractor. We’ll do a biomechanical assessment and cast your feet. Please note that our clinic does not require a prescription to purchase one, however, insurance providers require a prescription and a diagnosis from your medical doctor to be able to process the claims. Kindly check the requirements with your provider prior booking.

What should I wear during my treatment session?

It is always best to wear or bring clothing that is comfortable to move in. But don’t worry, we do have gowns and shorts for patients to use ,in case they forget to wear or bring their own.

Do you offer a consultation over the phone before booking an appointment?

Yes, we do offer a 15min complementary discovery call with our chiropractor and naturopathic doctor where patients can learn more about the services and treatment modalities they offer.

Is it okay to see a chiropractor when I am pregnant?

Yes it is. Chiropractic care is considered safe during pregnancy. Chiropractic care during pregnancy help simplify and improve the labour experience.

Does Spinal decompression help with back pain?

Yes, it does. If you are suffering from acute or chronic low back pain and/or leg pain, spinal decompression therapy may be able to help with your symptoms. While not everyone is a candidate for this treatment, our Chiropractor will make a recommendation based on the patient's medical history, current health condition and other factors.

Do you do X-rays at your clinic?

Yes we do. We offer chiropractic X-ray at Kenzie Wellness Centre, performed by our chiropractor. Please note that Chirpractic X-rays are not covered by MSP, However, most extended Health benefits do cover this service.

Are your practitioners licensed in province of BC?

Yes, all our Practitioners are licensed in the province of BC, and you can submit your claim to your extended health benefits.

Is Kinesiology/active rehab/Personal training covered?

Yes, Active rehab is covered for ICBC patients who have approved sessions. Some of Extended health benefits also cover Kinesiology and personal training sessions. We recommend that you check your coverage with your insurer to confirm eligibility.

If I see your Naturopathic Doctor , do you do blood tests at your clinic or I have to go to Lifelab to get them done?

Yes we do. Most of our Naturopathic doctors perform blood tests inside our vancouver location, Kenzie Wellness Centre. Please note, basic medical lab testing (lifelabs) is not covered by MSP if ordered by an ND in British Columbia.

How often should I get B12 injections?

The frequency of B12 injections depend on each body’s individual needs. We recommend to schedule a consultation with our naturopathic doctor to review your blood works to determine the frequency of B12 Injections.
