Dr. Amanda George is a licensed Naturopathic Doctor. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of British Columbia and is a graduate from the accredited Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine.
Dr. George is an active member in good standing with the College of Naturopathic Physicians of British Columbia (CNPBC), the British Columbia Naturopathic Association (BCNA) as well as with the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors (CAND).
Naturopathic medicine is primary health care that focuses on treating the underlying basis of disease.
Naturopathic doctors offer a wide variety of therapies, from nutrition counseling, lifestyle counseling, physical medicine, supplements, advanced laboratory testing, minor surgery procedures, and more.
In addition to treating acute and chronic disease, Dr. George focuses on addressing executive functioning deficits associated with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder/Attention Deficit Disorder, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, and other cognitive and behavioral impairments in children and adults alike.
Dr. George has seen first-hand the challenges children and families with developmental deficits face. Through her knowledge and expertise, she is dedicated to empowering patients and families with the tools in order to better help them thrive.
