We experience illness on a physical level, but in order to be healed, we must understand where true healing begins: within our hearts and minds.——Lama Zopa Rinpoche

It seemed Jessie was always struggling with illness since she was very young. She experienced digestive problems, headaches, insomnia, hypothyroidism, anxieties, and pains. These problems even stopped her from attending school many times. She was called a “medicine container”.

However, Jessie’s health started improving once she started receiving TCM therapies, then she realized where her real passion was.

During her self-healing and education in TCM, Jessie believes that our emotions and conscious mind deeply affect the body, which is a mini-universe, with all beings connected to each other. Her approach is that any kind of health issue is a blockage,  unlike in ancient times, nowadays we have too much for the needs that give us blockages–the blockages within the interior of the body or a connection to others; find the knots, untie them, physical, mental, this is healing…

Jessie now feels grateful for the challenge and illness she endured: in ways, she thinks of it as a kind of karma that has led her to understand illness more deeply and personally, and to help her know her purpose and be in a better position to help others.

Jessie practices acupuncture, acupressure massage, gua-sha, fire cupping, moxibustion, Chinese herbs, and food therapy, and guide and support diet & wellness suggestions.
