Areas of Practice

We work with a wide range of concerns that affect your emotional, psychological, and relational wellbeing. Whether you’re dealing with something recent or something you’ve carried for years, therapy can help you make sense of your experience and reconnect with your strength.

Some of the areas we commonly support include:

 Addiction

The inability to control substance use can deeply impact your relationships, career, health, and self-worth. Therapy provides a space to explore the roots of addiction and build tools for lasting change.

Depression & Anxiety

Two of the most common reasons people seek counselling. While these experiences are normal, they can be isolating and exhausting. You don’t have to manage them alone.

Anger Management

Anger is often misunderstood. Underneath it, there’s usually a story — one worth exploring with compassion and curiosity rather than shame.

Motivation & Procrastination

Struggling to follow through doesn’t mean you’re lazy or incapable. Therapy can help uncover the deeper emotional blocks behind avoidance and build healthier habits.

Career & Work Issues

Whether you’re feeling stuck, burnt out, or navigating challenging dynamics at work, we can help you gain clarity and set boundaries with confidence.

Trauma & PTSD

Trauma is a powerful emotional response to events that overwhelm our ability to cope. Healing is possible — and it begins with safety, compassion, and a therapist who listens without judgment.

Chronic Pain

Pain is real — whether physical, emotional, or both. Therapy can help you develop tools to manage pain and regain a sense of control over your life.

Cultural Identity & Belonging

Our cultural backgrounds shape how we see the world — and ourselves. We provide a space for clients to explore identity, discrimination, and belonging with sensitivity and depth.

Grief & Loss

Whether it’s the loss of a loved one, a relationship, or a version of yourself, grief is a natural — and often complicated — process. You don’t have to go through it alone.

Accident Recovery & ICBC Counselling

Car accidents can leave lasting emotional impacts. Whether you’re feeling anxious, unsettled, or simply not yourself, counselling can help you process the experience and feel more grounded again.

These are just some of the areas we work with — but healing is never one-size-fits-all. If you’re unsure whether counselling is right for your situation, please reach out.
