Registered Massage Therapy (RMT)
Registered Massage Therapy (RMT) refers to the gentle manipulation of soft tissue including muscles, tendons, ligaments, and joints with the use of hands, elbows, forearms, or a device. It helps alleviate the pain and discomfort due to overused muscles. Our RMTs treat both acute and chronic conditions. Myofascial release and active therapy modalities are often used during RMT.
RMT helps alleviates pain and/or discomfort associated with overused muscles, chronic pain conditions, and stress. RMT can restore muscle function, increase flexibility, and range of motion, and relieve stress.
The initial session requires a 60-min appointment which includes a review of your medical history and an assessment of your current condition. The RMT will create a treatment plan and provide alternative care options to help each patient towards recovery. A well-adjusted body will help the patient to gain better mobility and natural performance.
